Fashioned into a reproduction of a popular giveaway from the 1901 Buffalo Pan-American Exposition this clever pencil holder gives traditional lead pencils new life and flair. Just insert a pencil stub (a golf pencil is included) into the holder. Golfers love this pencil because they can carry it in their pants pocket or clip it to a shirt pocket without the fear of leaving graphite on their clothes. This pencil lends a great way to extend, protect and re-cycle those "too-short-to-write-with" old lead pencil stubs. An eraser is included. Unlike commercially produced wooden and acrylic pencil holders, I hand-turned this one on a lathe then shaped, sanded, polished, finished and waxed it. The holder is equipped with extremely durable and long-lasting chrome components.
